Colin Skone
Director, Development + Construction

Colin oversees the planning, execution, and delivery of the company’s real estate projects in the Pacific Northwest.

Colin brings more than 20 years of experience in real estate investment and development, with a strong background in multifamily and mixed-use projects across the Pacific Northwest. He joins us most recently from Lowe Enterprises, where he served as SVP of Development, overseeing projects from acquisition to disposition across the Seattle region. Colin has also held roles with Alliance Residential, CBRE, GLY Construction, and Burnstead Homes—contributing to over $750 million in residential, office, retail, and mixed-use development throughout his career.

In this role, Colin will lead the successful delivery of MacNaughton’s development and construction efforts, including major renovations in the Seattle area. He’ll serve as a key liaison between ownership, design consultants, contractors, and financial stakeholders—ensuring that our projects are executed efficiently, aligned with both design and financial goals, and built for long-term success. He’ll also engage in early-phase development activities such as due diligence, pro forma drafting, and investor relations.

Colin holds both an MBA and a BS in Construction Management from the University of Washington. He’s an active member of ULI and NAIOP, and serves on the ULI PNW Multifamily Product Council. A lifelong Seattleite, he lives in Laurelhurst with his wife Alana, their infant daughter Maren, and three dogs. When not on a jobsite, you’ll likely find Colin on the golf course or spending time with his family in Roche Harbor or Whidbey Island.
