Emily Reber Porter
Chief Operating Officer


Emily joined MacNaughton in 2015 after 15 years of cross-functional legal and business experience in Hawaii, Washington D.C., and California. She leads and oversees strategic and operational initiatives across the company and its projects.

Emily is a graduate of Punahou School, Princeton University, and Harvard Law School, and was a Fulbright Scholar in Japan. With family roots in Hawaii since the early 1900s, Emily serves on numerous community boards in Hawaii - Punahou School, Child and Family Service, Oahu Transportation Services, Outrigger Canoe Club, and MacNaughton Foundation – and on the advisory boards of KUPU Hawaii and UH’s Shidler College of Business. She also serves on the boards of Young Brothers and Kualoa Ranch. Emily has received recognitions in San Francisco and Hawaii including the Silicon Valley Business Journal and San Francisco Business Times’ Rising Star in Corporate Counsel Awards in 2014, Pacific Business News’ Woman to Watch in 2017, Hawai‘i Business magazine’s 20 for the Next 20 in 2018, Girl Scouts of Hawaii’s Woman of Distinction in 2019, Hawaii Leadership Forum’s Omidyar Fellow in 2020, and, in 2022, her favorite – the Outstanding Mother Award from American Lung Association of Hawaii.
